Roman Sikora (1970)
A theatre critic and dramatist. He studied theatre direction at JAMU in Brno. In 2005-2009 he worked as a writer of the art section in the Literární noviny, and in the Deník referendum in 2010 and 2011. He currently works as a reviewer for Czech Radio 3 Vltava and the Lidové noviny. He has authored more than twenty plays. For his play The Wiping of Antigona he won the second place for the best Czech original play by young authors Alfréd Radok Prize in 1998. Now, Švandovo Theatre in Prague gives his Masochist’s Testimony and Polárka Theatre in Brno gives his satirical musical Confusion like no Other.
